The Pool Is Heated Year Round, Which Changes When You Can Come
Most Charleston rental pools are unheated. That is why most pool listings here only work between June and August, which is also when the city is hottest, busiest and dearest.
Ours is heated all year. That moves the useful season outward at both ends. October in Charleston is warm, dry and far quieter than July, and the water is still ready. So is April, before the spring crowds arrive. If your dates are flexible, the shoulder season gives you better walking weather, lower rates and a pool you can actually get into.
Being straight about winter: heated means the water is warm, not the air. Charleston afternoons in midwinter sit around the high fifties. Plenty of people still swim. It is a quick dip and a warm towel rather than an afternoon by the water.
One Alley, One Courtyard, One Team
Our office is at 6 Tully Alley. Pool House and Cannon 405 sit on the same cobblestone alley, and the courtyard they both open onto is the middle of it.
That means the people who look after the pool work on the same alley you are staying on. If something is wrong with it, we know before you tell us. Try getting that from a listing managed from another state.
It also means location. King Street is one block away, so you swim in the afternoon and walk to dinner. A pool rental out on the islands means driving into town for every meal.
